First shiney chrome upgrade complete (Pics)

So, the Neck Plates are the (black plastic in my case) pieces that go on either side of the frame, right in front of the gas tank (and in my case where the ignition is). My stock ones were black, creating what I saw as a large black void between the black tank and the front forks.

Found them online and my neighbor and I just installed. I was nervous because intallation requires unbolting the tank and sliding it back (after removing the seats). Piece of cake. Only 2 bolts hold the tank in place and it slid easily. 15 minute job.

I'm very happy with the look.

That is a bike that has very few chrome-opportunities left in it - all of the existing ones seem to have been covered quite nicely.

I want something with a small design on it :D

on edit: there is a set in my catalog that has a black horizontal stripe through it. I'm thinking that might be a nice accent over a huge chrome flat piece :shrug:
