Let's talk mileage.
My little 250cc Super Sherpa was getting 75-80 mpg last summer, which amazed me, considering that's pretty much around town at slow speeds.

The bigger KTM 640 is getting around 48. Of course, it's got a 7.5 gallon tank, so range is improved.

What are you getting?

1. My 2006 Vespa LX 150 gets 65 mpg
I can fill it Sunday evening and if all I do is go to work and back I can get by until Thursday after work before I must feed the scoot again.

The scooter holds about 1.2 gallons.

4. It depends
On my riding habits and conditions on any given day. If I'm not bucking a big headwind and I can stay out of the throttle, I can get better than 50 mpg on my Sportster out on the highway, which is where I ride 90% of the time. I've seen 55-57 mpg on a regular basis.

On the other hand, if I'm in a mood to get after it, I can twist it down to 45mpg in short order. Haven't really seen it get much worse than that.

All in all, pretty good for a 900cc class bike :)

I really love fuel injection. Just when I thought nothing could be better than electric start they come out with EFI. I'm getting around 42 in town and 50+ on the interstate.

15. My Honda Elite gets 80-100 mpg
I know it is 80cc as opposed to your 50 cc engine and I only have had it about a month. Thus I am still learning on how to fill it. I have calculated anywhere from 80 -120 mpg, I am leaning to 100 mpg as I learn to fill the tank to the same spot. My 80 mpg calculation was based on some early fill ups as I learn how to fill the tank, but I also live in the mountains of Pennsylvania, so less then 100 mpg was assumed. Now that I have had my 80 cc for a month and consistently filling it to the same spot in the tank I am only doing now, so all told I expect the 100 mpg top become the norm.

20. 220+ mpg on my motorized bicycle. Many of the first motorcycles were motorized bicycles.
I have been experimenting with motorized bicycles. I can get over 220 mpg in the city with a 25cc four stroke engine, and a top speed of 24mph.

In reality, it’s a hybrid vehicle. I help by pedaling from a dead stop.
Human power takes the place of an electric motor.

24. Harley Davidson Deuce (injected), 45 mpg with spirited riding
Speeds up to about 100 mph, mountain twisties where there's lots of on/off throtle, a good bit of 60mph country roads, over all the milage stays about the same at 45 mpg. On Interstate highway holding it right at 70 it gets closer to 50mpg, but I don't do much of that. It has a trip odometer and I like to refill at 180 miles, but I don't start getting antsy until 200. It has a 4.9 gallon tank.
