Finally, a NICE OP regarding Socialism...

and it came out of my hometown paper. I have a news alert in which one of the search terms is Socialism. Unfortunately, recently all I get are how "OH NOES we're Socialist now" and negative articles from RW conservative papers. Yesterday, I read the first positive, most rational OP in months, and it was nice to see it came from my little home town newspaper.Although, I am sure the comments won't be agreeable, I was glad to see something positive for a change.

i like to see some activity here. my Detroit local of the Democratic Socialists of American, is active in an op-ed campaign to inform the public about what democratic socialism is and what it is not. the american public needs clarification about the subject.
