5. Illegal to take control from the fascists?
I seem to remember reading somewhere that we went to war to FIGHT fascism. And we had the cold war to battle authoritarians.

So we fight against it in other countries but when someone tries to fight injustice right here at home they go to jail. The crimes of Capitalism are too numerous to even mention so they obviously jailed the wrong person.

6. Angelo was tried under Georgia's "Insurrectionary Law" (!!)
.
.
.
Herndon's own trial began in January 1933. The ILD retained a young black attorney, Benjamin Davis, Jr., to lead the defense. Davis challenged the constitutionality of the insurrection law and the systematic exclusion of blacks from Atlanta's jury rolls as well as the repeated use of racial slurs by both the prosecution and judge. Nevertheless, Herndon was convicted and sentenced to twenty years on a Georgia chain gang. Echoing its strategy in the Scottsboro case, the ILD augmented Herndon's legal defense with mass demonstrations outside the courtroom in an attempt to apply political pressure on the legal system. After a four-year publicity campaign and appeals process, the U.S. Supreme Court overruled Herndon's conviction and he was released from prison.

8. I made what I believe to be useful postings in support of the OP.
My "point"? Now I need a "point"?? Are you accusing me of having a "secret agenda"? An anarcho-trotskyite WRECKER, perhaps?

Tex, I could swallow at least some of your ultra-sectarian mindset, had you displayed just the teeniest questioning of all those Stalinist threads that adorn this Forum.

9. You don't need a point?
Copy and paste responses do nothing to further a discussion of your views. You can't get away with that in a 7th grade English class, why does it makes sense on a discussion board? So, yes, you need to have a point and not just a copy and paste an article from some other source. How did the pasted material support your position? How did it potentially refute your opponent's argument(s)? How does the posted material expand our understanding of your views when you add neither commentary nor criticism of it?

I see your second paragraph as a flagrant attempt at sowing division where none exists. Nice try, though. My only comment on that is that Trotsky advocated a continual process of evolution towards Socialism (he used the word revolution but in context evolution is more accurately descriptive of his intent IMO). In that respect I consider myself a Marxist/Trotskyist and I don't see the Stalinist influence you see in the other posts. The fight against Capitalism and State Capitalism (as in the former USSR) has to be on multiple fronts, both from the masses rising up to throw off their shackles and from more organized groups and enlightened governments as well.
