From reading the Grand Jury Report, he should have been out of commission many yrs back. The PA DOH and Dept of State should have followed up on reports of his misdeeds long ago but didn't.

I don't know if there is anything we can do beyond countering the anti-choicers that this is NOT typical and WAS highly illegal and unethical. But anyone else have any ideas?

Grand jury report (beware, graphic), storing here for later (beware, seriously, it is nasty, way beyond awful) http://www.docstoc.com/docs/69618219/Grand-Jury-Report----Philly-Abortionist-Kermit-B-Gosnell-Multiple-Counts-of-Murder

1. I, for one,

think that his clinic was enabled by a powerful person or persons on, or with influence upon, the state medical boards, and the reason was about MONEY. I think the State is trying to cover their collective ass.

I believe that all the hand-wringing in the grand jury report about the place being ignored because of supposed "pro-choice" influence, is BS.

Gosnell had access to piles of unreported CASH, and to mountains of PRESCRIPTION NARCOTICS. If the person or persons who were surely on the take from Gosnell were of a pro-choice sympathetic bent, this would have been ratted out long ago, the more fodder for the forced-birther noise machine.

Like Judge Judy says - if it doesn't make sense, then it isn't true.

I think the FIRST order of business here is to find out WHO was on the take.

2. That is a good thought. Follow the money. I don't see it as making sure there weren't undue
hardships for women seeking abortions. All the reports of serious problems do not outweigh that. However, money, that is a possibility.

I sure hope they don't let this slide.
