Pat Robertson has chosen the safety and security of existing people
Edited on Wed Nov-07-07 06:29 PM by Ilsa
over "the unborn" zygotes, embryos, fetuses, etc. What a novel idea!

(Referring to his proclamation of support for Rudy G.)

Well, that's one way of looking at it, I guess.

1. Pat Robertson is just trying to get cozy with the RW lunatic whom he thinks is most likely to get
the nomination. He doesn't want to lose any of that faith-based initiative money and I wouldn't be surprised if Rudy promised Pat a shit load of it in return for his endorsement. It's impossible for a puke to get elected without the zealot vote.

2. You give him way too much credit.
I think he just believes Giuliani is going to win and wants to buy his soul now while the price is good.

4. Rudy can always "find Jesus" after getting elected
and change stance. Maybe he agreed to run on the belief of the majority and then switch to fundie after possibly taking office.

Here's a relevant comic.
