There is some, we'll say discussion over the internet over Palin and what her actual beliefs are. There is some "defense" of her, regarding some of the silly, and not so silly and sexist things said about her. However here, in her own words, she defends her forced birth position even in cases of rape. As for Palin, I only had to look at her answer to the 2006 questionnaire from the Eagle Forum on the issue.

(Palin's answer) I am pro-life. With the exception of a doctor’s determination that the mother’s life would end if the pregnancy continued. I believe that no matter what mistakes we make as a society, we cannot condone ending an innocent’s life.
