Side benefit to my quest for hypoallergenic everything.
I am still trying to remove all chemical irritants from my life and get rid of the rash I have. I have switched everything I can think of and have one unexpected benefit.

I had used Palmolive dish soap for a million years never thinking twice about the condition of my hands. They were always red and I always had split cuticles and thin, brittle nails.

One of my new choices is "Planet", a hypoallergenic "green" dish soap. My hands are so much better now. The redness is gone and my nails less brittle. I cannot use rubber gloves, they drive me nuts. I will next try 7th Generation. I hope the sudsing is a little better. The only disappointment I have with Planet is the quick dying of the suds and it is a little weak in its' de-greasing capabilities. Maybe 7th Generation will be better and as easy on my hands. Anyone here tried both?
What did you find?
