Are they all expensive as mine? I am paying around a hundred bucks a month just for cable TV service. I like it. Don't ever have to go out and climb onto the roof when the dish gets full of snow and ice. But its damn expensive I think. Maybe not? Way it works is we need to buy everything they offer to get the one channel we watch most often. About all we watch is the Smithsonian channel but we have to pay about $60 dollars a month for the basic package which covers all of the non-High Def channels we never watch to get the Hi Def channels. 2 through 60 or something. Never watch any of them.
But to get the High Def channels we have to buy all that crap we never watch. For $60 dollars a month.
Is there a cheaper way to do this? Or is that about the going rate for everyone?
I am in Illinois and my provider is Mediacom.
