1. Do you need a shampoo of this type because of allergies? If so,
post your request in "Chronic Health Conditions" or "Health". Both groups will give you all kinds if advice on chemical free soaps, shampoo and the like.

2. I don't know of a specific product, but try this site...
http://www.safecosmetics.org/ and click on the Skin Deep Report for a search-able database.

3. Lamas is great, but expensive.
He was a hairdresser to the stars who decided to make natural shampoos after one of his clients, Jackie Kennedy Onassis, died from a cancer caused by hair dye. The products are great - don't leave your hair dry and listless like some naturals -- but the price is high.

worth it to me, since without it my scalp is itchy and drives me crazy.

4. depends what you mean by no chemicals
I've lost count of the "natural" products that claim they have no "harsh chemicals" but while the ingredients may be grown in a pot they still contain chemicals, harsh ones even.

EVERYTHING contains chemicals

6. you'll have to confirm but
I think Burt's Bees is one of the lowest in nasty chemicals, at least a couple years ago when I looked. Not the cheapest but less hazardous.
