Does anyone collect Banthrico banks from the 1950's?
Actually, I'm trolling for someone with the expensive Banthrico collector's book to look up a bank for me. The one I found looks like a tree and has 1953D wheat pennies glued to it. It's probably called a money tree bank. Just looking on ebay, building banks and car banks by this company do well, but I haven't been able to find a tree with branches and pennies. There are a couple of other tree banks, but they don't have branches. If you have the book, I'll take a picture. Thanks in advance.

2. LOL -
That's mine. I decided to let ebay decide what it's worth. Apparently I'm not going to get to retire on this one.

3. O My!
I would think the spot for loose change might even be a business card holder.

Would you like me to make that remark re: business card holder to your eBay so you you can post the comment?

The words may get you more hits.

And, since you still have a few more days, it could be that you may get some last minute war bidding ;)

Will be keeping an eye on your listing...it's very interesting!

4. Sure - if you have time I'll add it to the post. Thanks.
I have quite a few watchers on it, but you never know. One time I had 25 watchers on something and ended up with 2 bidders who weren't willing to pay much. Thank heavens tag sale season is only a couple of months away. I've pretty much run out of ebay stuff for the season. I hoard through the summer and put most of it on ebay from September until Christmas. My focus the past month has been to clean out the closets and sell last year's accumulation at bargain basement prices in my booth. The next house I buy - if there is one - will have a dedicated shed for "stuff." There's never enough storage space.

6. Mine sold on ebay for about $60 which I was happy as a clam about.
The cars - in good condition - seem to be worth quite a bit, as do the identified building banks. Of course now that I know all this I'll probably never see one again.
