An unknown "Bavarian" mark
Edited on Fri May-30-08 07:31 PM by dotcosm
I picked up a very interesting piece today that I'm trying to identify, and so far, the only place I've seen the mark is on a website about marks, but it's in their "Unidentified" section.

It's on this page, 5th row down:

http://www.porcelainmarksandmore.com/0myste/02.php

No. 0503-06

I'm still looking for info, but figured I'd post in the meantime - I'll post a pic of the item later, it's actually really cool, very retro.

Edit to add photo - it looks like a sugar bowl, except that it's much larger, about 9" wide (that's LOTS of sugar!)

2. It could be an importers mark,
maybe that's why it's impossible to find.Love the shape and design.

4. Nice! Yes, that's the same mark
The "hand" actually looks like it's probably an "M" - that photo is not the mark on my piece, but from a website about marks - on mine, there is a number "10" below the other writing.

I really like that one you found! Can you post a link? :hi:
