Does Anyone Know Anything About This Chair...
Got it for $10 at an estate sale....my big fat cat thinks I purchased it for her...she was not happy that I reclined it for the pic...

The legs are wrapped in brass, all of the screw plugs are brass, real leather and good wood...very very comfortable...

2. Don't know if that label is for the metal recliner frame or for the whole chair..
it says:

Reclinomatic

5. Medellin, Colombia, huh? Interesting, indeed.
That was the heart of the cocaine trade in the 80s and 90s ..... Pablo Escobar's home town.

That, of course, has nothing to do with the chair, which looks like it would be contemporary to Stickley.

10. That chair could be an early 80'S drug "mule." What are the
cushions stuffed with?

3. Looks like an adaption to the Gustav Stickley original reclining chair c. 1902

Would say your chair is more likely made in the 1970s.
Has an adaptive Craftsman style to it.

4. I thought it resembled Stickley but, I knew it wasn't...
still a good buy for $10. This thing weighs a ton!! :o

I am just curious as to where it was made. Colombia is the only 'place' listed anywhere on the chair.

There's a contact button at the link.
You could srite to them and send your pic. They have a pic attachment feature at the contact site.

13. So true!
We uncovered a chaise lounge on the back patio and it didn't take but a few hours before a neighbor's cat hopped on for a curl up.
