Best day to list?
Conventional wisdom has it that ebay auctions ending on Sunday evenings tend to get the most bids. I've generally found that to be true. Monday evening seems to be pretty good too, and the rest of the week is so-so - except for Fridays, which are awful. I'm not even bothering to put up any 7-day listings tonight. Fridays are my "day off," so to speak. :)

Anyone else notice any particular patterns, either good or bad?

1. Evening endings definitely
I mostly agree re: Sunday/MOnday, bit have had some great endings on Friday nights.

Since I'm on the Left Coast, I try to make sure that the end time hits around or just before 10PM eastern time.

I think sometimes it's not the ending day, so much as the time of year.
For example: I know a long-time art seller on eBay who told me that original art sells better between November to February when people are more likely to be indoors during the darker months, and browse/search eBay for longer periods of time.

And, have personally found that Xmas specific items sell best during the week of and during Thankssgiving holiday.

2. I often list on Tuesday to close on Sunday
I have often used a five-day listing. Things aren't what they used to be, where people would jump in early and keep bidding. Things just sit around until nearly the end of the auction, mostly. So why have a seven day list?
