question about photos in eBay
Edited on Sun Jul-06-08 09:20 PM by JoeIsOneOfUs
I just found out about this DU forum and hope someone can help.

I haven't bought or sold anything on eBay in a little over a year, and it seems a lot of things have changed, and their help is less helpful.

Is there a way to post multiple photos without paying extra? I swear I used to be able to post many photos as long as they were stored on a different website, and I would just put the link in. I don't remember if it was just the link or I did it as a <a href...> or <img src...> tag.

Before I bang my head against the wall on this anymore, I figured I'd ask whether eBay doesn't allow this anymore?

edit to add - I found this on the help, but it doesn't look like it's working in the preview? :dunce:

2. a gallery might work since I'm using PhotoBucket
Edited on Sun Jul-06-08 09:49 PM by JoeIsOneOfUs
I'm new to Photobucket too so we'll see if I can figure this out. Thanks!

The item is an old movie projector I found, so it definitely needs several photos.

I think part of this is every time there's a snazzy wizard to use in software it drives me nuts. Looks like eBay tried to get all fancy in the last 18 months x(

4. I think it's "add a new album" at the left when you first log in
Edited on Sun Jul-06-08 10:12 PM by JoeIsOneOfUs
I put a few things for DU in a separate album (folder elsewhere in the world) when I set it up a few months back.

Of course, for all the eBay photos I just uploaded to my general directory, it only let me move the files one at a time into an eBay album which took me forever. I hope next time I can upload them straight into an album.

I'm doing better with eBay. After my frustration I found a link at the bottom of the wizard to get more options and now it looks more like eBay of a few years ago. :D

edit to add - and it was reading my HTML tags as text before so < looked like & l t ; or whatever its HTML code is.
