I rent space in a group shop in Brattleboro, Vermont, known far and wide as a town where people walk around naked every so often in the downtown area. One of the women working in the shop told me about a customer they had on Monday who was discovered completely nude in the area of the store where clothing is sold on consignment. She explained that she was trying on clothes and objected loudly when told she couldn't be in the store naked with other customers around. Can you imagine going into a store and stripping off all your clothes in public to try things on? It cracked me up.

I almost went up there last year to see the strolling of the heifers, but then I couldn't get it together to get up there.
