If a buyer puts something on their watch list, does a seller know it?
And do they know which buyer is watching specifically?

2. Thanks!
I watch a lot of stuff I know I'm probably not going to buy, just because I am interested, I like it, and I wonder what it will go for.

Many times, I HAVE NOT BID because I think it's worth more than what people are offering or, no offers, and I think, darn, I should have gone for it!

I am a buyer, who if I see a BUY IT NOW in the range of credibility - I would just prefer to buy it that way rather than wait a week and hope I edge out someone for $7.00. I kinda think more sellers should try the buy it now but be real with the amount.

3. other bidders watch the view page count at the page, too
....to see how many people are interested. And before eBay started hiding the identity of bidders, a seller and the bidders could strategize by who was already bidding.

5. most sellers put a little calculator on the page somewhere
....it will look like a little box, with numbers in it. It counts page views.
