McClelland Barclay jewelry.
I thought I'd share some newly found knowledge with you all. Yesterday I picked a sterling brooch out of a basket in a thrift store. It was $1.00. When I got home, I discovered the other marking on it was "lland" and something unreadable after it. I thought it looked like it could be McClelland Barclay, so I checked on "the Google" and, sure enough, some of his pieces only have a partial marking. I also found out that many people sell his jewelry as "Barclay" jewelry which is a much cheaper brand. The Barclay signature is in script while McClelland Barclay's name is in block letters. (I already checked ebay for today - LOL.) What I love about antiques and collectibles is there is always something new to learn.

...and so good to share it with us!

Thanks for making this forum--quiet though it can be--so interesting.
