Madame Alexander Dolls of the World set
I just was in a thrift shop and saw a whole set of Madame Alexander dolls of the world with all clothing intact and in excellent condition. Price? $5 per doll. Should I go back and nab it quick?

3. does she really want that group?
I will do it gladly. I can go back tomorrow. I did make the mistake of telling the salesperson that they were a bargain, but I doubt if they will be marked up.

5. I badly wanted the Alice in Wonderland doll when I was little...
I saved up $9.95 to buy one at the FAO Schwartz in New Haven when our parents took us there on a day trip. As I recall, it cost an extra 10 cents I hadn't anticipated, and my mother said NO to loaning me the dime. I never forgot it.

Stinky just remembered that story.

4. well, I'm just checking ebay...
I can't say if any or all of these were included in what I saw because they were all piled together and I didn't take inventory, but the price on this group on eBay is $275.

6. $5 is a steal. I bought a couple for $10 apiece last summer.
Still have Little Miss Great Britain if anyone's a collector.
