At long last - FIRST TAG SALE OF THE SEASON!
This morning, on the spur of the moment, I went to the one lone tag sale advertised in the paper. There's still lots of snow on the ground, so I figured it would be a waste of time, but I found all kinds of neat things! I might have a big winner with a piece of majolica I found. I'll post a photo at some point. Sometimes it's hard to tell the bona fide antique majolica from repros, but this one really looks old to me and was found with other antiques. I also found a Josh Simpson glass planet, a Bradley & Hubbard envelope holder, a bunch of New York 9/11 newspapers, a Vernon Kilns carafe and some old, embroidered dish towels with anthropomorphic vegetables. I'm so happy spring is nearly here!
