new tires, great condition, and only have to buy a seat. two on ebay are going for over 250 and up. after researching a bit it seems these are sort of a collector/cult status bikes. one site has everything you would EVER want to know about these early trek bikes...

1. that's something I never would think of looking for! |

And that is exactly why an antiques and collectibles television network would be useful to so many people who are trying to supplement their income by picking and selling.
Good on ya! Be sure to keep us posted if you sell it.

2. Oh, great. Something new to watch out for. |

 Every since reading about early Burton snowboards going for thousands, I've been scouring every sale I hit for them. Add bikes to the list.

I went into the local thrift shop today and guess what was sitting there for $75? A Trek bike. I decided to leave it though since I don't have the ambition to pack a bike to sell on ebay and I don't have any other place to sell it.
