A very crazy lamp over at bighappyfunhouse...
Or maybe it's not just a lamp but a lamp on a glass topped table. The tip of the shade makes me think there's another one on the other side of the couch.

It's the 7th photo down right now - the one titled "Crafty" posted on October 26th http://www.bighappyfunhouse.com/

1. man o man

She doesn't look too happy about things.

Did you scroll down and see the woman asleep on the bare mattress?

2. Looks like she'll glance up from knitting & ask me to go in the ktchen and stir the sauce for her
About the woman sleeping - the dress fabric is so late 60s. And the mattress fabric is disturbingly familiar. I think I have a vinyl tablecloth that looks like that.

3. Ooh - that's funky.
The new upscale thrift shop had the neatest lamp base last week, but they wanted $250 for it so I had to pass. It was bronze, really old and was a teepee with an indian. There was a marking on the back I couldn't make out - a factory mark, not a sculptor's signature. I searched and searched because the "little voice" told me it was worth alot more, but I couldn't find anything. I was in there yesterday and it was gone. I did find a Hall Twinspout teapot, though.

4. I've never seen a teapot with 2 spouts
Found a picture of one online just now - cute!

The lamp sounds like it was really cool. But what a price. I would have passed it up. With regret, but still.

5. Doing needlework in stockings and heels
Jeez, I can't even remember the last time I wore stockings and heels.
