antiques mall(like the one in Ohio, just off either route 70 or 71. Takes a day to go through it), yard, Anything. The winter doldrums have set in. I need to scrounge. I can't even get the new shows on TV because I don't get the History channel.

There are no big malls near me and it is too far in this cold weather to make an overnight jaunt. Besides, I'm caring for a sick dog right now.


I hate winter and we've got another storm coming. Phooey!

I know how you feel. I get real real itchy without the "fix". I went to three thrift shops over the weekend and was skunked everywhere. It was all just trash. Trash. All I found was a charmingly illustrated Louisa May Alcott book (Under the Lilacs) for a dime.

I was very thankful last week to get a very nice Sony TV for 9.95 at Goodwill, though, after mine stopped working.

2. I hear you, Paper Roses. I'm absolutely antsy.

Every day I hit the same, old, thrift shop that rarely has anything of interest just because I've "got the bug." Spring can't come soon enough. It's so funny when I run into my fellow yard salers during the winter. It's like we're all suffering from the same disease. Sorry to hear about your dog - nothing serious I hope.
