What if you didn't bid/buy something and the auction ended with no buyer

and you have horrible regrets about not bidding or doing buy it now. Are you allowed to contact the seller through Ebay? I am NOT talking about circumventing Ebay, I am just saying is their any way to resurrect an ended listing?

1. I have had this happen before.

I contacted the seller of the item I missed through ebay. I requested
that they relist it with a 'buy it now' with a price we agreed on. They
did list it, with no pics (to deter someone from immediately buying it) and
emailed me the listing number. I then logged into ebay and purchased the item.
The deal was totally done through ebay and all correspondence was done through
ebay.

3. I've done that, too. Once, however, someone beat the person

who wanted it to the "buy it now." You and the seller really need to coordinate things so you can act fast.

I had them post with no pics and a dubious title. It does
take careful coordination with the seller.

7. They can also do an approved only bids auction

With you being the only approved bidder to keep that from happening.

set you as the only approved bidder to completely
secure the auction!
