Even though I was kind of sour when the AP program started, I find myself looking forward to this summer season. I'm curious to see if they've tweaked the approach or more likely the editing. Seems like they were doing some of that as the show progressed last season.

I always look forward to new Pawn Stars. As much testosterone as pours out of that show, I immediately liked the program and still do. Everyone has their triumphs and losses so it felt even handed over the seasons.

OT - I'm also looking forward to Ice Road Truckers new season starting tonight.

1. thanks for the reminder!
I would have missed it. Monday nights are now good TV! And when Anthony Bourdain isn't in re-runs, I actually have to make a choice which to watch. Tony? Or pickers?

2. I continue to miss Bourdain programs
And they're even On Demand. So I must be forgetting to check them out. His shows are always about more than the cooking even when they're cooking.

3. I'm not feeling quite so sour about the pickers anymore either.
Although I do love the Pawn Stars a million times more. I've learned so much from them. One lesson in particular: walk away if you think you're going to pay too much.

4. okay, I now love those shows
But I love American Picker more than Pawn Stars. I don't like the way the old man and the dad treat Chumley. And I can't watch those two offspring without wondering why they don't eat a little healthier -- they can barely throw a leg over a bicycle.

In both instances, we sure are seeing a lot of interesting stuff!
