2. I know! I love it!
I have not bid yet. I have a place for it, yet it is a great hassle to pick it up.

I will most likely pass, but, dammit I want it, ya know?

3. That's a great piece!
Do they ship stuff or is this a local online auction?

4. My thought exactly. Can we ship the Hoosier to NE?
What a price! I'd even get out the good old refinishing tools for this. Would take forever to find the innards but just the piece itself would go for far more than that in New England.

As a kid, my Mom had a Hoosier with all the proper innards. She left it at a house from which we moved. I'd sell my soul for that now. BTW, it had never been painted and the porcelain tray was not chipped. These units were a great invention, as good today as they were when introduced.

6. Depends on what town the auction is in...
Independent shippers handle that.

Does Do-Bid ship items?

Do-Bid does not ship. The winning buyer is responsible for picking up items, check the "details page" for dates and time of pickup. Certain auctions shipping will be offered. Make sure you check the "details page" to find out about shipping. If shipping is offered we will send items to a fulfillment house for shipment; however, arrangements and payment must be made with this third party fulfillment house.

7. Well, not always. If the auction is in a town...
that has an independent shipper that will handle it, they will ship. Perhaps this one is in a town that doesn't have a a shipper.

It's all local small-town Minnesota towns up north here, don't ya know :hi:
