I always enjoyed Leslie Hindman's 'At the Auction' program on HGTV. So it's nice that there's a new auction tv show starting up.

5. meh -- I was underwhelmed

It broke my heart to see that woman sell the beautiful dollhouse her dad made for her, just because she has no daughters. She *might* have a granddaughter someday, fer cryin' out loud.

6. Oops, I forgot to watch. Does it have any redeeming value?

I recently took some things to auction - something I've only done a couple of other times - and took a real beating, so I'm not sure I want to watch anyway.

...they sold the dollhouse, a futuristic clock made in China -- one of a hundred made, a vintage Vespa with a sidecar, a Punch & Judy mechanical bank, a cell lock from San Quentin, a wedding dress copied after that of Princess Diana. The auctioneers are definitely western style, with the sing-song patter. I prefer the New England style of auctioneer. Some of the time was spent telling how they search for items -- a lot of effort spent finding sellers.

So it wasn't a bust. Just not reallll good IMO.
