1. It sounds like a fun show.
I love shows like American Pickers and Storage Wars. Shows about "modern archeology" as the guys on American Pickers say.

2. I'm thinking of asking Discovery to give me a show: Dump Pickers.
They've got everything else! LOL.

3. I'd watch that!
The only time I picked a city dump was outside a little resort town in rural Montana. In just a couple of minutes I found two really nice old enamelware pails, a horse collar and two bridles, barnboard with square nails in it that I couldn't take home, a couple of signs. The friends I was with had NO INTEREST in spending any time there -- we were just out for a walk.

5. I'm a sick, sick puppy. I absolutely LOVE going to the dump.
It's open 4 days a week and I stop by every one of them. We've got an old shed where people can leave stuff they don't want and another spot where books are left. One time my husband found an early edition of the Alcoholics Anonymous book and we sold it on ebay for $400. Most of the art in my house came from there and we use pieces of furniture I've redone. It's great!
