Christopher Radko ornaments - anyone know anything about them?
Specifically, does anyone have any of the value guides? I find an ornament about once every 5 years so I don't want to invest in the books. I found a really cute one with a puppy and kitty laying next to each other sleeping under a Santa hat. I'm curious as to the year and value. So far I haven't come up with anything on the Internets.

1. I found this while looking....
Republican "Party Animal" Christmas Ornament
by Radko, Christopher

:)

Found this interesting info....
http://justbrowsing.lohudblogs.com/2007/11/28/for-radko-fans/
"For Radko fans...
...In addition, the company has anounced the release of its company-owned archive inventory of glass ornaments, which features more than 5,000 rare and limited editions of Radko pieces dating back to 1986. This collection will be offered for sale this holiday season, also through the premier gift-store retailers."

And a great article on Radko here...

2. His ornaments are adorable - even the darn elephant. LOL.
I think I'm just going to put it on ebay for $9.99 and take my chances. I've got a whopping dollar wrapped up in it. The last one I found did really well, but it was signed by him. Apparently he turns up at stores and shows once in awhile, FYI, if you have any ornaments.

3. I think you did well
to buy it for a buck in the
first place. Evidently his
ornaments are very popular
with collectors. I think you
will get more than the $9.99
but, who knows. Good luck with
your auction. I did learn quite
a bit doing the search and it was
interesting too. :)
