Biden, give us a clue!

Most of us here in his support group are trying to choose from the remaining candidates. If Biden endorsed one we would all scramble to support this candidate, right?

He probably figures that since he didn't get much support while he was a candidate his endorsement wouldn't mean much. That isn't necessarily true, since, many said he'd make a great SOS or Defense. Will he endorse before Feb. 5th?

about her being our next pres.. He knows the bottom line on the remaining candidates, he's no fool or game player.

I also think he likes Obama, but he has known Hillary a lot longer, and knows what she is all about.

I don't think he will endorse anyone. He doesn't want to alienate either of them.

I hope he doesn't endorse anyone. As chairman of the foreign relations committee, he will have to work closely with whoever becomes president and an endorsement of a candidate could affect that relationship in the future. I believe Biden cares a great deal about the country's future and would not jeopardize that future for the sake of politics.

20. Remember to keep an eye on "Uncle Ted" Kennedy. He's the man

with the dem power on the Hill. Joe is smart not endorsing anyone, neither has Ted. They'll wait, and if they feel they need to make an endorsement I'm sure it will be HRC. Some kid out of Illinois running for class president and running pep rallies will not pass muster with the established firm.... I'm hoping Joe is on my ballot, can't wait to vote for him. If he's not I may not vote in the prim, just wait until the GE...Time will tell folks.

10. The one thing I learned from Joe

is to be pragmatic. I put aside my personal opinions and looked at the candidates very objectively. I don't need sixties style inspiration. I want someone who will listen to experts (like Joe of course) and make informed decisions, someone who can function in a crisis knowing that not all decisions will be popular ones and that some choices are just less "wrong" than others.

Whatever happens, it certainly will be an interesting time to be alive.

endorse O and she won, I've also heard that once you "cross the Clintons", it's curtains for you. Don't know if that's true, but I wouldn't be surprised.

I think it wouldn't be politically savvy to endorse either one, for the reasons mentioned -- best to just work for the nominee and not get caught up in the political crap.

If he did endorse one or the other, I'd be more inclined to consider that person, but don't know if I could overcome my concerns about each of them to become a real supporter.

11. I have been disappointed in some of our elder statesmen

who have endorsed a candidate. I think they would have been better off just waiting and backing the eventual nominee, and then working with that person when they take office. I really hope that is what Joe does.

16. High profile politicians make endorsements for one of two

reasons - 1) They believe the candidate is the best choice for the country or 2) They believe the candidate is best for them politically (Cabinet appointments or VP).

I sincerely hope Biden and Dodd stay out of it.

at this time can only serve to diminish his influence, not enhance it. There is no need to commit to anyone but the nominee.

Now, Oregon's dimwitted governor is on the campaign trail for HRC...no doubt hoping to ride a winner's coattails to an extended political life beyond Oregon's term limits. Joe already has a life, thank you very much, and, I think, job security.

Kerry comes to my mind. Hillary didn't stand up for him when he made that dumb joke about Bush, Edwards trashed him after the election - so I look at Kerry's endorsement as payback.

Given Obama's record on the SFRC, where Kerry is #3, what else am I suppose to think?
