and he was so awful, he actually woke me up.

I wrote a rundown of his distortions to the show. Brian Lamb will probably play his BookTv segment continuously.

2. Did you listen to the Hartmann segment w/him?
Thom tried to confront him, but being the polite host that he is Thom let some lies slip by during the interview, but after the interview Thom and many callers called the liar on his lying lies.

A thing the pisses me off listening to the discussions on nationalization is the missing component of the fair compensation by the state.

3. Thom demolished him. I didn't listen to the calls but did email Thom.
Mika: Latin Pulse on LinkTv is being used to propagandize against the Chavez government. Have you ever watched that show? They're reporting on just about every other nation is all right but their Venezuela stuff is horrendous. (Come to think of it, I have to go back and see how they handle Cuba and Bolivia, Ecuador.) But, they started gunning for Chavez in their very first episode.

The takeaway from the last episode is that Chavez wants to be president for life, he is a radical with terrorist ties and he's buying explosives from Iran. Sound familiar?

I want to find out who the major funders of that program are. If Peter Coyote or Harry Belafonte or any of the other LinkTv stalwarts knew how their venue was being used, they'd flip like pancakes. :(

4. Fyi, the last Latin Pulse episode is at this link.
http://www.linktv.org/latinpulse

The Venezuela segment begins at about 00:05 and lasts four minutes or so.

7. Exactly. On LinkTv?! I think they're exploiting the bi lingual format
because an English only speaker wouldn't catch it all. Sneaky! I'm sure the leaders at Link have no idea what is going on here.

8. Not just the segment on Venezuela either.
The whole broadcast is a train wreck of propaganda.

I'm very surprised because many people tell me that LinkTV is a good source of "lefty" info. Guess not. :(

9. I have to watch it again because I wasn't paying attention.
"Latin Pulse" is not representative of LinkTv, that's why this caught my attention. It's supposed to be modeled on "Mosaic" (a good rundown of news for the Middle East that uses clips from all over that area) but it's not, really. If you have any notes, pass them on, Mika. I have a note into the station, not to the show. I told them that I don't want to speak to anyone associated with the show itself but to their Ombudsman.

5. Oh, christ! It's THIS pathetic asshole. Douglas Schoen, partner of that filthy Mark Penn.

Douglas Schoen

Hartmann kept after him for a while but as he got to the last couple of questions he pooped out and didn't keep on him, so his last lie stood without the correction it needed. It sounds as if Hartmann was probably trying to watch the clock too hard and his mind strayed as he saw it was time to end the conversation. Damn.

Schoen is really dirty. DIRTY dirty. Look at that crappy face, too! Holy smokes. He should put a bag over it before leaving home.

He's all bent out of shape over Chavez's condemnation of Israel's attack on Gaza. He'd better be prepared to be ready to take on the whole world, then, as all the better leaders whole heartedly condemn it.

Thanks, Mika. Felt a certain odd twinge of satisfaction hearing him work so hard to get his lies in. You can tell he lacks conviction from listening to his voice. He's hostile, too. What a loser!
