Here in DC, School of the Americas Watch is having lobby days. We have just spent two days learning and planning, and we will be a presence at the capitol tomorrow, meeting with many staffers about closing the SOA/WHINSEC. It is a good day to call your reps. www.soaw.org

with her office. Apparently there is an agreement that if the house can pass something the senate will approve it also. An argentine woman who survived torture and 2 years imprisonment is going with them, Patricia Issasa.

Hoping for real headway in this necessary next step. It's long past time they closed shop.
