I don't recall any political leader claiming them as a legitimate force who deserves support and recognition or part of a "proyecto Bolivariano" paramilitary style either.


I see nothing wrong with displaying some of the human costs and tactics the FARC is responsible for. as well as pointing out the offensive hypocrisy of the "narrator".

But shouldn't history be "fair and balanced?"

For the record, I don't recall any political leader in Colombia claiming they took money from the AUC either (as well as the FARC), but I bet a lot of them did. Maybe they believed in "free speech" or maybe they considered armed groups like the AUC and the FARC as "deserving of support" or "deserving recognition." I suspect that the AUC has had far more political representation in Bogotá than the FARC has had.

4. history is what it is, history is often not fair. I don't see many arguing

for a greater recognition and understanding of Hitler's nazi Germany.

oh, I am positive that political leaders in Colombia have more support and connection to the paras than the FARC.

I still don't recall any foreign leader saying that the AUC is a para version of a "Proyecto Bolivariano" or that they deserve support and recognition, or stating that they are NOT a terrorist organization.
