Wanna get pumped up by some revolutionary speeches? Telesur has a conucopia of videos this evening

Hi folks: I dropped in on Telesur TV a few minutes ago and found some great videos -- both Morales and Chavez kick butt in their International Workers Day speeches. Plus there is a video of Jimmy Carter's visit to Bolivia. And another of Rafael Correa talking about the election. of course all are in spanish except for the one with Carter in it.

about the Human Rights Foundation that you mentioned earlier in the day.

at about 8 minutes 30 seconds into the video. He flat says the HRF in Bolivia is linked to the separatists. No mincing of words there. HRF is going to be scrambling to cover their butts.

What struck me is the open-air speech in front of the Palacio Quemado. No protection whatsoever from possible snipers in nearby building, although presume they were swept first by security agents. Still ...

Cool faces in the crowd; the women and their derby hats. Noted some miners in hardhats. I once saw a miner's protest against an unpopular government years ago where the miners were walking with dynamite sticks in one hand and lighted cigarettes in the other. Tough guys.

5. Yeah, I was concerned about the open area where he was

giving his speech. And then the fireworks went off before he had finished the speech and a cold chill went down my spine.
