No additional travel security for Cuban Americans returning from Cuba (all others get 3rd degree)

Even though the DHS has issued an edict that ALL travelers returning from "terror states" (which, insanely, includes Cuba) be subject to extra security, the local TV news (WCIX - 6) just showed a brief piece on how the new DHS rules have been affecting Cuba travel security measures. In brief, it hasn't.

American born Americans are rendered to 2nd class citizenship status .... back of the line. Cuban-Americans rule, get to go first. :puke:

getting other countries to abide by US requirements won't be easy. It doesn't do so much good once they land in the US if the idea is to blow up the plane on the way here.

We were late coming out of Washington National in a snow storm.

A passenger sent a message up:

"I'm connecting with American Flt. ???, Radio ahead, they will hold for me."

I thought, Sure, hold a flight for an hour for one passenger.

Got to Dallas, American had waited.

The passenger was going to Palm Springs. Nixon was vacationing in Palm Springs.

there is a link with some actual info on worldwide security measures demanded by the US.

Its all well and good to search people coming from those countries once they land, if they are being screened at all. but if overseas screening isn't better then what happens on the plane ride here??
