Mexico and Central America Face Hundreds of Millions in Repairs from Natural Disasters this Year
Mexico and Central America are facing hundreds of millions of dollars in repairs bills, thanks to 19 major storms thus far this year that occurred in the region.
In Oaxaca, Mexico alone, one of the country’s poorest state, the government faces $163 million to repair public structures, roads and infrastructures from extreme weather in 2010.
