Ternium: No final payment yet for nationalization of Sidor
Ternium, which is owned by Argentine industrial group Techint, said in a statement that the 15-day period for Corporación Venezolana de Guayana (CVG) to make the final payment has expired
ECONOMY
Ternium, one of the biggest steelmakers in Latin America, said on Wednesday that it has not yet received the final installment from Venezuela as a compensation for the nationalization in 2008 of steel maker Sidor, its subsidiary in Venezuela.

The final payment to be made by CVG to Ternium, owned by Argentine holding, Techint amounts to USD 255.6 million plus interest, the industrial group said.

Ternium reported in a statement that the 15-day period for the CVG to make the final payment has expired, Reuters reported.

1. Taking care of the Venezuelan people
Takes priority over further enriching foreign RW capitalists!

2. But they are asking for foreign capitalists to invest in Venezuela
So if they fail to pay for nationalized assets, then the foreign capitalists will not invest. And if you think there are left wing capitalists who are willing to invest to have their assets taken without compensation, please give us a list.

If they don't get investors, their economy suffers. And if it suffers, the people are poorer. I don't think the Venezuelan government is taking care of anything, except for possibly lining their pockets. They are ruining the country.

4. So
it used to be here that there was the constant refrain that "chavez always pays". Is this an admission now that he does not always pay? Also, are you for him taking assets without paying?
