Over 71 percent of Venezuelans think that wage raise is not enough

A public opinion survey conducted by polling firm Keller y Asociados showed that 71 percent of respondents thought that the minimum wage increase that was been implemented this year is insufficient.

The poll conducted in the second quarter of the year reported that 22 percent of Venezuelans have the view that the adjustment of minimum wage is appropriate, while 7 percent did not know or refused to answer.

Keller y Asociados said that 73 percent of the survey's respondents pertaining to the E social class said that the salary increase is not enough; 67 percent of D social class said that it is insufficient; 71 percent of C- class said that it was not enough, while 66 percent of A, B and C+ classes think that it is not sufficient.

Sixty-eight percent of respondents said that there are funds to approve a larger increase.

Hard to interpret this, as this is something the poor care about, yet the poor don't have phones so would not have been in the survey.
