Argentina growth beats estimates

BUENOS AIRES: Argentina’s economy grew 8.1 per cent in May from the same month a year earlier, the government said on Monday, beating market expectations and showing a nearly two-year-long boom remains strong.

Argentina, Latin America’s third-biggest economy, is growing at one of the region’s fastest rates on the back of grain exports, strong consumer spending and industrial output.

Most economic analysts accuse the INDEC statistics agency of downplaying inflation and, to a lesser extent, of exaggerating industrial output and economic growth for political gain.

The data marked the 21st consecutive month of year-on-year growth.

I suppose it shouldn't be a surprise, but it continues to astound me how stupid and vile the "blue-eyed wonders of the Wall Street" are, in their prognostications about Latin American countries with leftist governments that have given the finger to Wall Street and the World Bank/IMF, and have landed on their feet, with the engines of their economies primed by SOCIAL SPENDING and other LEFTIST policies and headed straight up the graph on economic growth and general well-being.

Nestor Kirchner was right.

His wife, Cristina Fernandez, has been right.

Lula da Silva was right.

Dilmba Rousseff, his chose successor, is right

Huge Chavez was right.

Evo Morales was right.

Rafael Correa was right.

Daniel Ortega was right.

All the leftists have been right. And Wall Street and its asshole analysts have been WRONG.

When are they going to understand that the rightwing, with its downsizing, and outsourcing, and "privatization," and deregulation, and "austerity" kills economies and destroys business--except for government vulture businesses like war profiteering--drive up debt to astronomical levels with unfair tax cuts for the rich, war and malfeasance, and has only one economic policy: LOOTING!

Well, that's where these analysts are coming from. They believe in LOOTING--countries, economies and societies. It's not so much that they lack social conscience--which they certainly do--it's that they lack COMMON SENSE. Their idea a smart move is to bet on people defaulting on their mortgages! They haven't a clue how build anything! They haven't a clue how to create anything. They are leeches, like their global corporate bosses. Scum. That's who is running Wall Street and our the "G-8" world: scum.
