Mexican Border - Another sensless tragedy
My mother is consoling a neighbor who's sister in law was abducted yesterday.

Kidnapped as she left the maquiladora, robbed of money, her car, murdered, and dumped on the side of the highway between Reynosa and Monterrey.

Leaves a husband and two children behind.

And this is not a rare event. This is an every day, or every other day occurrence.

I don't know what else to say.

1. Monstrous. You would think the company owners would make certain there is security for the employees
going in and out of their businesses. The whole world has been watching this for YEARS. Books have been written about it, movies made to awaken the world's consiousness about it. People with global name recognition have lead demonstrations to bring more media to focus on this horror.

Overwhelming sadness concerning your mother's real life friend. This is far more than just another story to hear about in the newspapers.

Best wishes also for your own mother's well being.
