I think the fact that Clinton was so admired the world over is another reason they spent all the money trying to find something to impeach him on. And make no mistake. Right now they are furiously searching for something to "get" Obama on. They are messing their underwear because they can't. The only difference is they don't have a republican majority to get the job done.
