President Obama, Biden, top advisors to meet regarding Detroit terror attack

President Barack Obama and Vice-President Joe Biden will meet with senior advisors Tuesday to review an attempted terrorist attack on Northwest Flight 253 from Amsterdam to Detroit on Christmas Day.''

According to an official press release issued by the White Housetoday, the meeting will take place immediately following the Presidential Daily Briefing and the Economic Daily Briefing and will also include discussion of security and intelligence-sharing enhancements in relation to our nation's homeland security and counterterrorism efforts.

Expected attendees include Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano, Attorney General Eric Holder, National Security Advisor General James Jones and head directors of the CIA, FBI, National Intelligence and National Security Agency among others.

Immediately following the closed-door meeting, Obama will address the media from the Grand Foyer.

by the time the republicans are done framing this even people on this board will be describing this as the worse attack on our soil since 9/11.

7. There was a TERROR ATTACK? No way!

Seriously? Seriously?

I was aware that something happened on December 25th, but I had no idea it was a terror attack. Reading DU, I was under the impression that there was this person of color, whose daddy was mad that he didn't call him often enough. So, the daddy called someone, and said that his son was a "bad boy". Well, the "bad boy" got mad at his daddy, unwrapped a bunch of firecrackers, and put the gunpowder in his undies. To make a long story short, I heard that somewhere over Michigan, the "bad boy" was playing with either his pee-pee or his gunpowder, and the gunpowder (from firecrackers) accidentally caught on fire and burned his pee-pee and his Speedos. NO biggie.

Why would President Obama react this way to such a non-event?

8. I think Pres. Obama will take no prisoners...

I imagine he will tell them, in no uncertain terms, that the time for games is over. No more pissing contests between agencies - including foreign ones like Masada & Scotland Yard, etc. ALL terrorist intel shared & compiled in one list in real time. Brilliant people monitoring it 24/7. Use of state-of-the-art technology & the best IT people to use it. If anyone/anything sounds even a little bit hinky, NO FLY, NO VISA, NO ENTRY. Period.

Leon Panetta may have to go. TSA has to get a Director NOW.

You've got to watch out for these quiet types. As I've said before... anyone who 'misunderestimates' our President, does so at their own risk. There's a reason VP Biden says "he has steel in his spine."
