But get up in arms anytime a dem opposes abortion/gay marriage/ single payer healthcare/etc. Maybe it's not the test itself that is at fault, but rather the crappy policies the right uses as the basis for that test. Frankly, I wouldn't be against cutting off funding for any dem that opposes gay marriage or abortion.

13. If the DNC had introduced a similar test

In which candidates who wish to run as a Democratic member of congress were required to fulfill certain criteria in order to recieve funding(pro choice, anti-war, pro gay rights, etc), all of DU would wholeheartedly support it, myself included. Making fun of the RW purity test seems a tad hypocritical considering many of the same people here are for tossing out (purging) every blue dog in congress from the party.
