North Dakota went 53-45 for McCain in 2008. Historically, that was actually a pretty good showing there for Democrats, who didn't even contest the state.

1. We Totally Blew Our Chance

The Democrats won't have this dominance again for decades.

Meaningful health care cost containment? DOA.
Prosecution of war criminals? DOA
Ending warrantless wiretapping? DOA
Equal rights for LGBT? DOA
Stopping the confiscatory handing of Middle Class money to the Predator Class? Hell, these "Dems" made it worse!
Ending the war in Afghanistan? Don't ask, I won't tell.

Our glorious chance is now merde.

2. Oh no...we'll lose our 60 seat majority.....

...which means we'll no longer be able to ......uh...and then there's...........there's that other thing we did.....and um...yeah.

And no, Troll Patrol this is not a dig at Obama as much as it is the blue dogs and the senate in general.

On the bright side if we lose that wonderful supermajority but still maintain at least a 4-5 seat majority that pretty much makes Joe Lieberman irrelevant, and if there's one thing he hates it's not being the belle of the ball.

3. Im not saying this applies to Dorgan, he is a good guy

But I predict a wave of Congress members will retire before midterms..... on both sides.

There are probably lots of lucrative openings just waiting for many of them with Insurance companies and big pharma.

Dorgan voted against the GLBA. He is good to go and has my Blessings also.

5. It's too late. The Dem elites are forcing awful legislative initiates and the people are ANGRY.

It's going to be "hell on earth" for most politicians over the next few elections cycles.

Heaven KNOWS that these assholes (arrogant political leadership - both sides) deserve it.

I'm hoping for GRIDLOCK because everything both parties do now only supports the upper 1% of wealth elites. Therefore, we'd be better off it they STOP screwing up our nation.

Time to RESET and vote-out all CORPORATE politicians.
