Remember that shoulder flick gesture Obama used in campaign?
I think he ought to publicly use that attitude towards terrorists while privately doing absolutely everything he can to dismantle their networks.

He is dancing to the Republicans' tune, trying to out-cower the worst of them. I don't see that as a model of courage.

Come on, Obama. Channel your best Winston Churchill and Harry Truman moments.

America wins if America stands tall and fearless to the world.

What kind of stinking model do we present to other countries with all this finger-pointing and ridiculous throwing money at security measures and invasions of privacy?

Stand up! Democrats! Stand up!

You are always one step up on these internets sites! ;) I saw it in the GLBT forum. And, I doubt your on any 'enemy's list'. That seems silly.

Here's to Congressional success on liberal causes this year, I'm sure you are behind that! Let's head bang to that!

9. Thank goodness I don't post for the sake of your entertainment ......
yes, thank goodness.

The point is that grasswire was faulty in his analysis...

The point is that what you are saying isn't anymore valuable
than his or my post on this thread; and that's a fact.

5. Dancing to the rethug's tune? You're kidding, right?
He acts and is the polar opposite of the rethugs when you compare President Obama to idiot son. He's approaching this seriously, again trying to repair the last fuck-up's mistakes, and is taking responsibility which dim son never did.

Call it what you want, but I welcome what Obama is doing.

Talk about dancing to the Republican's tune.

Edited on Thu Jan-07-10 05:50 PM by katandmoon
All Obama's really got are useless talk and gestures.

17. He is NOT dancing to the Repubs.' tune! HE, unlike Bush, said we must keep our values while
keeping our country safe. He doesn't say we're at war with "terror." He says we're at war with al Qaeda. No comparison.

19. ??
"Keep our values"?

You mean like FISA and no habeas corpus? Torture and abduction? Those values?

If he wants to differentiate himself from Bush, he could just freaking defend the Constitution and its protections for citizens.
