Sen. McCain and Sen Lieberman blast Obama on CNN State of Union
Edited on Sun Jan-10-10 12:09 PM by NewLIfeArea
Sens. John McCain and Joe Lieberman tell CNN's John King that President Obama has not done enough to impose accountability within his administration for intelligence failures.
They are interviewing right now on CNN

2. It is only a matter of timing when Holy Joe officially adopts the 'R' behind his name
If there is a shift to GOP in Senate, I expect Lieberman to join the Republican caucus and keep his Homeland Security Committee chairmanship.

5. His only hope to get reelected in 2012 in CT is to become a Rethug
The Dems have abandoned him here in the Nutmeg State. His only hope is to become a Rethug and get lots of Rethug voters to come out. Of course, 2012 is a long time away.

7. My bet is that he will retire. His poll 3's are in the dumper
andI don't think he could get re-elected even if he delcared to be a Pub! There are way too many indy Ct. voters who wouldn't support him.

6. I simply can't stand Joe Lieberman.
McCain is just being a typical Republican. Holy Joe, on the other hand, is a disgrace. You must have a stronger stomach than I do to be able to listen to him.

9. McCain and Lieberman.
Two liars with no principles who are motivated more by spite than anything sense of patriotism.

10. Odd, but when it was Pres. Bush, I couldn't find a Democrat
nor a Republican turned Democrat anywhere on the television saying boo.

Now CNN decides this is what we should want; the politicization of our National Security.

The media either has made a 180 turn in how they treat Obama vs. how they treated Bush,
or they are just a bunch of fucking GOP hacks.
I choose all of the above.

11. Criticizing our President on foreign soil, no less.
That was a big no-no when Repugs were in power.

16. I'm sorry you had to
See that. :-) I've simply stopped watching the Sunday morning shows because they keep having the same asshats on over and over again. Have Anthony Weiner or Grayson on and I'll watch. Until then - they've lost me as a viewer.

17. When I see Lieberman and McCain I want to throw up in their face.
Two of the most despicable bastards that ever graced the face of our nation. McCain the phony war hero and his sidekick the caved in faced twerp Lieberman make me sick. I would like to stuff a pile of crap in Lieberman's whining mouth. They epitomize how the United States has go to hell in a hand basket. Fuck every stinking Republican they are the enemy within.

18. WHY wasn't Lieberman McCain's VP nominee really????
Edited on Sun Jan-10-10 02:57 PM by Proud Liberal Dem
they just seem to go so..........well together. And some people here still don't understand how/why President Obama has never actually *had* "60 votes" in the Senate to work with- to ram progressive legislation through? :eyes: :puke: :banghead:
Joe will almost undoubtedly be crossing over to the Republican side the instant it will personally benefit him to do so in some way. "Independent Democrat" my a**!!!!
