Quayle Endorses in NH Senate Race
Senate candidate Ovide Lamontagne is about to find out whether former Vice President Dan Quayle is an opinion driver in New Hampshire.

On Monday, Quayle endorsed Lamontagne's bid for his state's Senate nomination.

"Marilyn and I have known Ovide and Bettie since 1999 when Governor and Nancy Sununu introduced us to each other," Quayle said in a statement provided by Lamontage's campaign. "It is important that this Senate seat remain in Republican hands in 2010, and I am confident that Ovide is the man to do just that."

Binnie's campaign has TV ads running on New Hampshire cable outlets.

CQ Politics rates the race a Tossup.

10. Odious Lamontagne
He was a big wheel in the state Dept of Ed. during the Merril era - very conservative Catholic, not a nice guy. Does'nt do well with the voters.

He ran for governor a few years back.

And thanks to the 2008 Class of National Democrats,
he stands an excellent chance of beating Paul Hodes
to become NH's next United States Senator. :puke:

15. When Bush Sr. picked Quayle
he said Quayle was good looking and would appeal to women voters. The McCain camp picked Palin to snatch the disgruntled Hillary voters. The men voters because of Sarah's looks. That tells us what Republicans think of voters.
