GOP in turmoil! Another Repug - Shadegg (AZ) - retiring. Now total of 14 calling it quits.

AZ 3: Shadegg (R) to Retire

Republican Cong. John Shadegg (R) is retiring. First elected in 1994, he represents Arizona's 3rd District. John McCain carried the district with 56% in 2008.

3. Is there anybody decent that can run for his seat?
Last year I really felt like this state was going to turn blue - but now I'm beginning to wonder.

6. May be slim but if a credible candidate is found it would require
the Republican candidate to spend campaign funds. And possibly force the state and national party to spend funds for that campaign.
