It is just killing W to have to stand there and praise Obama
On CNN right now. Obama spoke, and now W is speaking. Clinton will be up next. But he had to praise Obama's response to the quake. Oh, and I love the fund they set up is called Clinton/Bush, rightly so since Bill will be doing most of the work.

1. It doesn't matter how he feels, that's just what Presidents do.
If the roles were reversed, Obama would do the same for him under these circumstances.

2. True, but Obama would be a lot more articulate about it
And he would have wanted to be there.

3. I don't know if it kills him
I actually believe that he likes him personally. It's hard not to like Obama. As for politics, oh well, that's totally different. Beside, Bush should be very grateful to Obama, who paid him a lot of compliments and is giving him a chance to do in Haiti what he couldn't bother to do in New Orleans.

4. It's too bad
that DU feels the need to make this a partisan issue. The death of over 150,000 people isn't a political issue. If W. can get even one Bush supporter to donate then it is okay with me.

5. I agree totally with that
I think that Obama was right to ask him to help. I just thought it was amusing at him having to praise Obama and Clinton.

7. I've seen those posts too
And I don't agree with them. But it cracked me up to see and hear W up there next to Obama and Clinton. Clinton and Obama are both known for great speeches, W, not so much. And it showed today. I love when Clinton said that he came up with a few ways to get W to do things he hadn't signed on for.
