Scott Brown fans talk about his military service while trashing John Kerry
I find it amazing (not really) that Repiglicans and TeaFreepers are practically ready to perform fellatio on Scott Brown for his service to our country while trashing John Kerry, a war veteran with 3 Purple Hearts, a Silver Star and a Bronze Star, for daring to expose the TeaFreepers for being common Beckdroids.

So let's compare the military service cred.

Scott Brown, a veteran with the National Guard, who brags "I have enlisted service, I have infantry, quartermaster, JAG, I’m airborne qualified, I’ve been to all the courses". OK. That's good. Thanks for the service, although you, Mr. Brown, never saw a second of combat.

Let's compare that with John Kerry's military record. From my view, Scott Brown should PLEAD to lick the boots of John Kerry for his service to this country as a soldier, let alone all the other contributions he has made for this country.

If people want to trash Kerry's military record, they need to see this:

2. I live in MA, I've seen a ton of ads,
got 7 phone calls today so far (4 from Coakley, 3 from Brown) and I didn't even know Brown was in the military. Apparently, I'm haven't heard from the "right" TeaFreepers yet.

15. He is in the National Guard...
and a member of the National Guard JAG.

He went on and on in the last debate about his "military service". Funny thing, however, he has never served in combat...EVER! But he somehow thinks 30 years at home in the Guard somehow qualifies him to be expert in how the military infantry works.

A**H***!

6. Dont really see where that makes a difference in this race
Coakly has how many years of military experience? That is the candidate that Brown is running against. Service in the National Guard use to be a pretty good deal. During the Johnson and McNamara era it was a sure bet to stay out of Vietnam. But now hundreds of those Guardsmen have come back in body bags from Iraq and Afghanistan. If military service counts for anything, the current Pope and the Queen of England individually have more active duty military service than the last two Democratic Presidents combined. What is proves is nothing. I think service is a valuable asset, whether in the Reserve, Guard or Active duty. But it is not nor should it be the deciding issue on whether a candidate is qualified to serve in the Senate or the House or the Oval Office.

9. Senator Kerry went to Vietnam, Scotty.
You were in the fucking Guard.

Senator Kerry got shot at. You were in the fucking NATIONAL GUARD. Like your hero Georgie W.

You're a lying fascist and if you somehow manage to win I will go to work for your opponent full-time in 2012.

11. Brown being in the Guard is cool if he isn't for trashing REAL war heros for votes
That's apparently the kind of guy Scott Brown is... piss on a war hero and the honor that brings if you can get a couple yucks from some toothless Beckdroids and Hannityshits...

Fuckin' cake eater...

his National Guard service - all 100% positive. They were less completely positive in 2004 on Kerry's service, even though he was a genuine war hero.

13. OMG thank you! Their hypocrisy on this subject is so damn obvious..
..and needs to be called out, FAR more often than it is! :toast:

Brown doesn't even deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as John Kerry, let alone considered to serve with him in the Senate. *shudders* If (God forbid!) that happens, I will feel so sorry for Kerry (as he will be the only REAL Senator left in the state...and probably left to do all the real work..)..and the sane folks left in MA! Hoping the majority is smarter than that!
